The error message means that replicated disc might have a bit damage and lead to readable issue. The most of reasons is less compatibility between burners(drivers). We suggest to start the data compare function(verify written data in Nero) while replicating if software provides it. Although it takes you double spending time, you can happen the issue early to avoid damage.

Abnormal reasons as following：
．Disc quality is less
．Burners(Drivers) malfunction
．Breakdown and laser decay of burners(driver)
．Compatibility is not good enough between burners(drivers) and discs
．O/S of PC or laptop is unstable or resource is inadequate.
The reason more often happen in less compatibility and laser decay. The latest firmware can improve compatibility issue. As regards laser decay, we suggest user change other burners(driver).

Various disc in marketing, many burners(drivers) makers are in order to allow products slot into marketing. Products might be launched when compatibility are imperfect. It causes that disc can’t be replicated or replicated by the highest-speed. Firmware owns control information of burners(drivers). At this time, it has to rely on updating firmware to improve replicating quality.

Basically, disc is able to over-burn. It has to combine particular software with burners(drivers). But probability of replicate failure should be very high and replicated disc might not be readable, either. It’s not recommended to use.

．TAO : Track at once
．TAO will not finalize after replicating, so it can be replicated by many times
．DAO : Disc at once
．DAO will replicate at once and finalize, so it can’t be replicated by many times.

The reason as following,
1. Compatibility isn’t very good for high-speed replicate in your disc and burners(drivers).
2. Laser power of burners(drivers) decayed.
- High-speed replicate has to need higher power to burn.
      Even if replicating success in laser power decayed, compatibility isn’t good to identify.

Burners(drivers) installation of more than two IDE or SCSI interface have to provide JUMP to decide which one for the master and which one for slaver, otherwise there will be catch only one or no catch.
．Please check if the transmission line and power cord of your computer host loose or access to undesirable.
．You can enter BIOS to check if burners(drivers) were caught by the motherboard. It might be a problem if
burners(drivers) are caught by BIOS and enter O/S, but burners(drivers) aren't showed up.
．If burners(drivers) can be showed up in O/S, but replicate software can't. It should be the replicate software
　 problem or nonsupport.

It's a normal phenomenon, not a flaw in disc.
DL disc is single side-double layer, so there are ripple texture in visual.

It has to use UDF format to replicate in a single file over 2GB. Currently, there are many replicating software to replicate by ISO/UDF mixed-mode format automatically. If replicating by Nero, it’ll notice to use UDF format replicating. You should be hand-off to UDF format or ISO/UDF mixed-mode format to replicate by yourself, otherwise the replicated file can’t be used.

Light Scribe is a technology in print label on disc directly and launched by HP. Laser Scribe is a disc for special purpose. It uses laser beam of burners(drivers) and Light Scribe coating to print words and draw on CD or DVD surface. (Light Scribe uses “Etching” on disc by laser beam, and both safe and non-toxic chemical). Therefore, you buy burners(drivers) and disc supporting Light Scribe and you can replicate data and create label.

Label Flash is launched by YAMAHA. Use different laser bema to change dye coating of disc print surface. It could make out words and draw between depth and shallow of color. Resolution of up to 1000dpi/256 bands and quality of images detailed more than Light Scribe.

This error message means some of data has damaged in replicated and it would make data loss. If this error message showed up after replicating with verify written data, the reason will be happen as following,
A disc quality is less.
．Laser power is decay and shortage.
．Compatibility is not good enough between burners(drivers) and discs
．Above-mentioned frequently, the reason of unusual issue is that compatibility is not good enough between
burners(drivers) and discs in widespread use. You can change other brand disc or refresh firmware to
improve it.

It's mainly in record mode. They are divided into MODE1 for computer data storage and MODE2 for compressed video storage, calculated as follows,
1M = 1024K , 1M = 1024*1024=1048576bytes
1 second=75sector , 1sector=2048bytes
Mode 1 with code amendment 2048bytes
Mode 2 without code amendment 2048+288=2336bytes
80 min=4800 second　
4800*75=360000sector
Mode 1 = 360000*2048=737280000bytes=703MB
Mode 2 = 360000*2336=840960000bytes=802MB

The reason as follows,
1.Filename is too long.
2.Filename text can’t be identified by Nero.
Please cut down length of filename or change the filename.

It's not a very correct wording. The disc marked 16x means process in 16x. It should be the best performance at 16x replicating in normal situation.

But there are many uncertain factors in replicating actually, ex. PC O/S is unstable 、laser power is decay and shortage 、burners(drivers) temperature overheating, etc. All of them would bring out less replicating quality and even appear replicating failure.

In order to reduce the rate of replicating failure, user will use low-speed to replicate. Reasons are O/S resource demanded is less and laser power is more stable in low-speed replicating.

Quality is really not better in low-speed replicating. If compatibility were not good enough between burners(drivers) and disc, it would cause unusual case.

．Burners(drivers) carps discs. Suggest to update firmware or change other burners(drivers).
．It might be abnormal software. Suggest to reinstall software or use others.
．Change other computers to try it.
．If the above methods had been ineffective, it would malfunction in burners(drivers). Suggest to fix it.

．After update into new firmware, not recommended to return from the old version.
Please inquire burners(drivers) makers if the old version firmware can be returned. Burners(drivers)
makers don't announce user if the old version firmware can be returned while firmware is provided
to download.The old version firmware will be update directly when user has been in the loop.
The firmware designed well prohibit the old version firmware returned.But some of the firmware
designed worse would be returned from the old version, it causes burners(drivers) malfunction or
abnormal.
．If the firmware were update failure and not to work, it would be fixed.
．Please put disc into the tray of burners(drivers) while firmware update. If put disc into the tray ,
burners(drivers) wouldn’t work due to power calibration error.

The whys is that protect property rights. Commercial DVD video can't be backup by replicating software because it is with prevented an illegal copying.

It's not affected replicating quality in burners(drivers) vertical and horizontal placement theoretically. Please don't work in tilt.

Each burner(driver) will be build-in buffer memory by itself. Data has to be read from the main memory into buffer memory and then replicate in replicating. Buffer Under Run will be happened in no data from buffer memory.
Causing “Buffer Under Run”, the reasons are as follows,
1.The effectiveness of the entire system is inadequate.
2.Applications are too much, ex. Screen saver program, anti-virus program etc.
3.Data block arranged is so dispersed that data can’t be series in hard disc. Hard disc has to be reorganization.
4.Replicate setting isn't correct, ex. It should use transmission DMA mode, not PIO mode.

．The capacity will be more less, the reason is that the information will be written in disc format. It makes disc
can be used by drag the same as hard disc.
．Access of CD-R or DVD-R/+R with INCD format has to install INCD software.

The reason as follows,
．Disc quality is less
．The readable of burners(drivers) is not better because CD-DA format and VCD format don't have ECC.
Tone quality not good, screen freeze or mosaic will bring out while capability isn't good in reading VCD
data or DAE by burners(drivers).

Please check the specification of USB slot. Transmission is too slow to work successfully if using specification of USB 1.0 / 1.1. Suggest USB 2.0 to improve it.

A disc is prohibited plastering on anything. Temperature will be liberated in high-speed running and plaster will be fallen in high temperature. If plaster felt into burners(drivers), burners(drivers) would be damaged easily. Suggest to mark by marker on disc directly.

"Foreign image setting" means Nero don't conform with standard format. It has to be be setting. Suggest to use Alcohol 120% for replicating image file specially.

There are two kinds of printers for printable disc. They are Thermal and Inject.
There are more conditions in Thermal. Suggest to use smooth printable disc.
Inject is contrary to Thermal. It is suitable for use in both of them.
